In-store Warranty Registration & Service

Our customers enjoy the benefit of having us perform the warranty repairs in-house. That means if a product that we sell, fails within certain time frame, we will do the repairs free of charge, and it does not have to be taken elsewhere. If you buy from a big box store or online, it is a chore to get it repaired under warranty, if there is even a warranty on it.

When you purchase a unit from us, an original warranty of 2 years comes with most products. You also have the option to extend your warranty by 1 or 3 more years.

Another beneficial service we offer to our customers is warranty registration on new units at the time of purchase. This ensures a valid warranty and saves our customers from ever having to deal with registering their own unit online or by mail. We even keep a record of it in-store.

Full Service Equipment Repair Shop

Thunder Bay Saw Shop offers the Powell River community a full-service garage with two full-time technicians on duty. Our professional team are factory trained mechanical technicians specializing in all brands of lawn and garden power equipment, and power tool repairs.

If a product that we sell, fails within certain time frame, we will do the repairs free of charge. We can troubleshoot any of your small engine problems, and even do Honda and Yamaha small outboard repairs.

A very large part of the repair shop is dedicated to lawn tractors, usually with a very quick turn-around time, because we stock all fast moving parts like belts, blades, rollers and pulleys.

We not only service everything we sell like Husqvarna, Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, X-Stream, and Craftsmen, but most ever other competing brands too.

Professional Maintenance Provided On-Site

Ensure your lawn and garden power equipment remains in good working order for the long term by scheduling annual maintenance services. The best time to have your power equipment serviced is in the late fall or winter. Getting it ready and winterized with clean fresh fuel, and oil is very important for the few months that it sits not being used.

Regular cleaning and repair will ensure proper performance and longevity, and will prevent rusting.

Join our free Maintenance Membership by clicking HERE, and one of our technicians will call you in the fall to schedule your annual service. We’ll even provide pick-up and drop off if needed.
